Overview

This course is a nationally accredited Level 2 qualification (RQF), regulated by OFQUAL, which is run over two sessions on two different days. This is accredited and recognised internationally and has been developed to protect customers, brand reputation and profits.

This food hygiene course is ideal for anyone working in the catering and hospitality industry (or those about to start work in the industry). 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification? 

This is a two session evening course with an examination at the end.

How much does it cost? 

The course costs £59.00 per learner, this includes the exam and certificate. Further discounts are available if more than ten courses are purchased at the same time. 

Is there any requirements for entry into this course? 

There are no subject specific pre-requisites and the qualification is suitable for learners aged 14+. It is recommended that learners undertaking the qualification have a minimum of level 1 in English and maths or equivalent.

  • The role of the food handler in keeping food safe.

What will the examination involve?

The examination will be held after the training, at one of our Training centres. The Exam consists of 20 multiple choice questions. The food hygiene certificate awarded on successful completion, is the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF).

What next?

Learners can continue on to Level Level 3 Food Hygiene in Catering/Manufacturing Award and Level 4 Food Hygiene in Catering/Manufacturing Award.
