Overview

This course is a nationally accredited Level 2 qualification (RQF), regulated by OFQUAL. It is a one day course with an examination at the end. 

This is accredited and recognised internationally and has been developed to protect customers, brand reputation and helps demonstrate compliance with food safety law.

Who is this course for?

This food hygiene course is ideal for anyone working in the catering hospitality industry and/or manufacturing (or those about to start work in the industry). 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification? 

This is a one day course with a multiple choice examination at the end.

How much does it cost? 

The course costs £59.00 per learner, which includes exam and certificate. Further discounts are available if ten or more places are purchased at the same time.

Is there any requirements for entry into this course? 

There are no subject specific pre-requisites and the qualification is suitable for learners aged 14+. It is recommended that learners undertaking the qualification have a minimum of level 1 in English and maths or equivalent.

  • The role of the food handler in keeping food safe.


What will the examination involve?

The examination will be held after the training, at one of our Training centres. The Exam consists of 20 multiple choice questions. The food hygiene certificate awarded on successful completion, is the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF).

What next?

Learners can continue on to Levels 3 and 4 in Food Hygiene.
