This qualification provides learners with an understanding in the responsibilities of employers and employees, the benefits of good health and safety, steps to a risk assessment and how they can reduce accidents, near misses and ill-health, typical hazards and controls in a workplace, common causes of accidents, near misses and ill-health, emergency procedures and the importance of recording accidents, near misses and ill-health.
Who is this course for?
This is ideal for those staff members undergoing induction and training in health and safety in the workplace. The Level 2 prepares candidates for entry into the Level 3 Award in Health & Safety.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
This is a one day course with an examination at the end.

How much does it cost?
The course costs £59.00 per learner, this includes exam and certificate. Further discounts are available if ten or more places are purchased at the same time.
Is there any requirements for entry into this course?
There are no subject specific pre-requisites and the qualification is suitable for learners aged 14+. It is recommended that learners undertaking the qualification have a minimum of level 1 in English and maths or equivalent.
